WHAT IS POWDER COATING BY EKO?
When EKO powder coats products for commercial or industrial customers we apply very specific Powder Coating Techniques. We use quality spray guns to apply an electrostatic charge to paint powder particles that are sprayed onto any item that is being powder coated. These particles are attracted to the grounded parts which enter heated ovens where the coating chemically reacts and bonds to the substrate using a process called cross-linking. Cross-linking is what creates such a durable, long-lasting finish which makes the product more durable and often, physically more appealing.

Powder Coating is more durable than liquid coatings. It is also a thicker coating and it certainly passes the test of time. Furthermore, when EKO powder coats a product it is typically applied in one application. This makes our coating process easier and faster than a liquid quoting process.
EKO Powder Coatings come in an exciting array of colors. Furthermore, when we powder coat products we can create a variety of textures, improving the overall look of a product. The long and short of it, is we improve and embellish the beauty of your product.
EKO Powder Coating techniques and products are scratch-resistant, crack resistant and less likely to peel. They are also not affected by UV rays or rust.
Powder Coating coloring is much more consistent than liquid coatings. At EKO our colors and textures are a part of the plan, they are designed into the powder coating composition. There are no potential variations due to the addition of solvents, catalysts, or other additives, that may be necessary in standard liquid coatings.
Surprisingly, Powder Coating is better for you and the environment. Powder Coat powders do not contain harmful chemicals such as solvents or volatile organic compounds (VOC) that are often found in liquid coatings. Powder Coating is safer for the environment for our employees and for end users.
